David Michael Gleeson

David Michael Gleeson, 56, of Springfield, died at 9:20 am, Thursday, December 2, 2021 at his home. He was born June 1, 1965 in Springfield to Eugene Joseph and Florence (Gertrude (Endris) Gleeson.

He is survived by six brothers and sisters, James Gleeson of Auburn, Bob Gleeson of Auburn, Carol Avery of Springfield, Kathy (Chuck) Stubbs of Taylorville, Jeannie Gleeson of Auburn, and Linda Gleeson of Springfield; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, John Gleeson.

David was an avid golfer, hunter and fisherman.

He worked at Lincoln Land Community College in ground maintenance for 20 years.

The family will host a Celebration of Life starting at 2:00 pm, Sunday, December 19, 2021 at the Community Center in Auburn, IL.
