Lonie Storey

Lonie “Peggy” Storey, age 92, of Bessemer passed away on August 15, 2025. She was born on May 26, 1933 to Lloyd and Maybelle. Peggy was a devoted member of Maytown Baptist church. She had a strong love for her family and was always involved in their lives. She spent 65 wonderful years with her husband, Robert Storey. Together, they had 5 children. Peggy enjoyed gardening veggies and flowers, especially roses. She also enjoyed camping, and she worked hard on her crochet projects. Peggy Storey loved people and was loved by people. Her family will forever cherish the memories they shared with her. Rest in peace, Peggy. You are loved and missed.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Storey, and her son, Terry Storey.

She is survived by her children, June Montgomery (Neal), Ken Storey (Kathy), Denise Chapman (Rick), and Allen Storey; daughter-in-law, Donna Wells; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Crestview Memorial FH, Adamsville, AL.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 19, 2025.

Burial will take place in the Crestview Memorial Gardens.
