SENA FAYE (BARBOUR) STREET, 89, of Vansant, VA, passed away Sunday, August 3, 2025, at the Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, KY, following a brief illness. Born in Red Jacket, WV, on November 9, 1935, to Orville “O.G.” and Love (Snead) Barbour, Faye was the wife of Ralph “Babe” Street. They were married for 62 years and raised three children. They were the proud grandparents of seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

Her family called her Granny. In fact, she was Granny to most all who knew her. She took care of her family before tending to her own needs. Her family was her life and Granny was the center of that family. They will miss her greatly.

She was an awesome cook, just ask anyone who was lucky enough to have been gifted a box of her peanut butter fudge or fresh apple cake. If you stepped a foot in her home, you had to eat something; from a complete home cooked meal or just a snack, you left with something in your belly. This world is just a little bit smaller without Granny’s sweet soul.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, one sister, her husband Ralph, and her daughter Vicky.

She is survived by her son, Roger (Darlene) Street, her daughter, Rhonda (Larry) Cox and her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M.

Funeral Services for SENA FAYE (BARBOUR) STREET will be conducted Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mike Rife officiating with burial to follow in the Baldwin Mountain Cemetery, Vansant, VA.

Active Pallbearers will be grandsons.
