Terry Hunter

Terry Lee Hunter, 84, Warren, passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at his home.

Terry was born on February 25, 1941, in Altus, Oklahoma to Lloyd and Bernice (McCombs) Hunter. He grew up in Warren and graduated from the Warren School with the Class of 1959. After high school, Terry attended Western Oklahoma Junior College, Oklahoma State University, and Panhandle State University. He started his career in the natural gas industry working as a fieldman for Panhandle Eastern Pipe Line Company. Terry worked there for 30 years before retiring in 1996. He married Pat Talley in Altus, Oklahoma on December 12, 1963. Terry grew cotton and peanuts and raised cattle and horses on his ranch in Warren. He was a former member of the Warren Church of Christ and was currently a member of the Elm and Hudson Church of Christ.

His parents and a sister, Sharon Hunter Storie, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Pat, of the home; three sons, Todd Hunter and wife, Brenna, Brett Hunter and wife, Beverly, and Kerrick Hunter and wife, Lisa; six grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, July 19, 2025, in the Lowell-Tims Funeral Home Chapel with Daniel Ingram officiating. Burial will follow in the Warren Cemetery under the care of the Lowell-Tims Funeral Home and Crematory.
