Louis Sannuto

Louis A. Sannuto, beloved father and grandfather, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2025, at the age of 80.

Louis was born on January 5, 1945, in Roggiano Gravina, Italy. As a young boy, he made the long journey with his family, immigrating to America in the 1950s and settling in Brooklyn, New York. He became a proud U.S. citizen on February 2, 1965.

A career pizzaman in New York City, Louis was well-known for his hardworking spirit and dedication. In 1982, he married the love of his life, Rosa, and together they raised two sons, Salvatore and Tony.

Louis had a deep love for cars, holding onto his cherished Monte Carlo until it could run no more. Later in life, he lived with his son Tony and Dee, where he helped raised Jayden for over 8 years.

A man of few words but with a sharp memory, Louis often spoke nostalgically of the past. He loved to sit outside, often keeping an eye on the neighborhood & just taking in the sun.

Louis is survived by his sons, Salvatore Sannuto and Tony Sannuto; his granddaughters Scarlet & Alara and many relatives and friends who will miss his quiet strength, loyalty, and presence. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Rosa.
