The Life of Lorenzo Smith
I Lorenzo Smith better known as “Fatman” was born September 5, 1974 to Nancy Ann White and Lorenzo Cook of Cleveland, Ohio. Fatman was the second oldest of Nancy’s nine children.
He attended the Cleveland Public School System where he later received his G.E.D. He found employment with the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, he was later employed with the Metro Security System until his illness. To have known him, you knew he was stubborn, grumpy, and spoiled by his mother but most of all he was a loner. Fatman was very smart and when it came to game shows such as Jeopardy he was very knowledgeable. Fatman’s favorite pastime was his remote, watching TV, smoking Newports, drinking St. Ides beer, and later adopted Steel Reserve beer. Whether win or lose he was a diehard Cleveland Browns.
Two most important things he treasured, in life was his only son Carlos, whom he was most proud of and wanted nothing but the best for him and was honored to call him son. He loved Carlos unconditionally. Second he loved his mother. Although they didn’t always see eye to he truly loved her dearly.
