Alta Robinson

Alta Carol Elkin Robinson, 53, of Winchester, Kentucky, passed away on August 6, 2025, at Clark Regional Medical Center. She was born on November 30, 1971, and spent her life surrounded by family and friends.

Carol cherished her role as a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother. Nothing brought her greater joy than spending time with her loved ones, and she leaves behind a legacy of kindness, warmth, and unforgettable memories. She touched the lives of all who knew her with her generous spirit and unwavering love.

She is survived by her husband, DeWayne Robinson; her son, Jacob (Shawna) Robinson; and her beloved grandchildren, Konner Kelley, Nathanial Robinson, Chloe Robinson, Gracie Robinson, Destany Walden, and Elisabeth Meadow Robinson. She is also survived by her mother, Bonnie Townsend; her brother, Mark Palmer; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will miss her dearly.

Carol was preceded in death by her daughter, Kelley Nichole Robinson; her son, James Caleb Richardson; and her father, Walker “Pete” Elkin.

The family will host a Celebration of Life at a later date to honor Carol’s memory and the love she shared with so many.
