Marjorie Duffy Noonan, age 90, of Skokie and formerly of Chicago. Beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Helen Duffy. Preceded in death by siblings Sue (Joe) Ward, Joe (Beverly) Duffy, Bill Duffy, Patsy Bougearel, and Carol Duffy. Dear sister-in-law to Mary Duffy, wife of the late Bill Duffy. Cherished mother to Kevin (Cindy) Noonan, Sheila Noonan, and Dan (Anne James-Noonan) Noonan. Adored “Mima” to Lily, Mary, Seamus, Brendan, and Liam. Former spouse of the late Richard Noonan. Loving aunt and great-aunt to many nieces and nephews. Marge was a social worker for Catholic Charities for over 50 years, specializing in adoptions and elder services. Long time parishioner of St. Ignatius and St. Lambert Parishes. She got her masters degree in counseling from DePaul University at age 65, but her greatest accomplishment was her family and close friends.

 

 

A visitation will be held Sunday, December 5, 2021 at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 6150 N. Cicero Ave. Chicago IL from 4:00-7:00pm. A memorial mass will be held Monday, December 6 at St. Lambert Parish, 8148 N. Karlov Ave., Skokie, Illinois 60076 at 10:00am. Inurnment to follow at All Saints Catholic Cemetery, Des Plaines IL. Please keep in mind, face masks are required while indoors at all locations.
