Roger Pramberg

Roger was born on February 1, 1932 to Albert Pramberg and Rosy (Sall) Pramberg in Gothenburg Nebraska. He passed away on June 20, 2025 at the age of 93. He spent all of his 93 years in Gothenburg Nebraska which made him a forever Gothenburg Swede and Nebraska Cornhusker fan. Roger grew up on the Pramberg Hereford Farm northwest of Gothenburg and lived 81 years on the farm until they moved to Gothenburg in 2013. He enjoyed the life of a farmer/ rancher where he raised cattle and crops. Roger spent years on the District 100R school board along with serving on the church board. He was forever known for being ornery and always having something funny to say to whoever he met. Roger and Jean loved watching grandchildren in their sports and traveling in their later years.

In 1954 he met and married Jean (Kittle) Pramberg from Maxwell NE. They had four children: Sharon, Sandi, Sue and Terry.

He is survived by his wife Jean; Children: Sharon Koop (Kel) of Abbotsford, British Columbia, Sandi Moncrief (Robert) of Kearney, Sue Ernst (Steve) of Erie, CO, and Terry Pramberg (Julie) of Lincoln. They were blessed with 12 Grandchildren – Andrew Koop (Robyn) of Abbotsford, Ashley Milec (Matt) of Coldstream, British Columbia, Kristin Moncrief (Adam) of Kearney, Kiley Isaac (Charlie) of Kearney, Jordan Moncrief (Riley) of Kearney, Karmin Driscoll (Drew) of Omaha, Lauren Snow (Thomas) of Erie, CO, Logan Ernst (Hannah) of Somerville, MA, Ryan Pramberg (Allison) of Omaha, Brady Pramberg (Sarah) of Lincoln, Kim Larson (Trevor) of Omaha and Tyler Pramberg of Dallas, TX, 22 great grandchildren, sister-in-law Carla Pramberg of Gothenburg and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Rosy Pramberg and his brother Norman Pramberg.

Visitation will be held Monday, June 23, 2025 from 4:00-7:00 PM with the family present from 4:00-6:00 PM at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel, 620 10th St. Gothenburg, NE 69138.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 24, 2025, 2:00 PM at Cornerstone Bible Church in Gothenburg, NE, with Pastor Scott Newman officiating.

Burial will follow at Gothenburg Cemetery in Gothenburg.

Memorials may be given to Cornerstone Bible Church in Gothenburg.
