Richard S. Cutler, Jr.

Richard S. Cutler, Jr., 95, of Highland, CA, died on Nov. 14, 2021. He was born on July 15, 1926 in Evanston, IL, to Richard S. and Dorothea L. Cutler, Sr. He married Betty Birks on Sept. 22, 1951, and she preceded him in death on January 17, 2006.

He is survived by a son, Richard (Louise) Cutler, III of Fort Collins, CO; a daughter, Catherine (Paul) Wegner of Highland, CA; and five grandchildren, Anthony Gipson, Phillip and Timothy Cutler, and Matthew and Scott Wegner.

He was also preceded in death by his parents.

Richard served in the United States Army Air Corps during World War II.

Visitation: 10-11 am, Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield. A procession will follow to Mechanicsburg Cemetery for a graveside service.

Memorial Service: 3:00 pm, Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield with Paul Wegner officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Freedom in Christ Ministries, 9051 Executive Park Dr., Ste 503, Knoxville, TN 37923.

CDC protocol shall be followed.
