Robert C. Mrazek Sr.

Robert C. Mrazek Sr., age 82, of Yorkville, IL passed away unexpectedly on November 23, 2021 at Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL. He was born on June 13, 1939 in Chicago, IL the son of Charles and Ruth (Miller) Mrazek.

Robert was united in marriage on June 23, 1962 to the former Sandra Duda and they spent the next 59 years happily together. Mr. Mrazek was a member of the Teamsters and employed for many years as a truck driver in the construction industry until his retirement. He was a collector of vintage cars and trucks and belong to several area car clubs.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Mrazek of Yorkville, IL; his sons, Robert C. (Manuel Rivera) Mrazek Jr. of North Aurora, IL and Daniel (Tina Miller) Mrazek Downers Grove, IL; his granddaughters, Hannah (Robert) Ross of Arkansas and Cassandra Mrazek of Downers Grove, IL; his great-grandson, Henry; his brother, Charles (Susan) Mrazek of Waterman, IL; his sister, Marlene Myers of California; as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Ruth Mrazek; and his son, James M. Mrazek.

Funeral Services will be held at 5:00 PM on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at the Nelson Funeral Home, 1617 N. Bridge St., Yorkville, IL. Interment will be private.

Friends may visit from 1:00 PM until the Hour of Service on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at the Nelson Funeral Home in Yorkville, IL.
