Todd Bronold, age 38, along with his youngest daughter, Palmer, age 1, tragically lost their lives in a car accident on August 6, 2025.
Todd was born in Appleton, WI, to Keith and Shelley Bronold and was the best big brother to his younger sister, Kim. Todd was a cornerstone to the family, whether it was lending a helping hand when his family needed him; goofing around with his niece (Olivia) or nephew (Carter); showing off his athletic abilities to his cousins, who couldn’t believe how far he could hit a golf ball or baseball; or simply catching up in the driveway with his aunts and uncles. He was the quintessential statement of “one call that’s all”. He was there for everyone, every time. Not only was he a fantastic son, brother, nephew, and grandson, but he was an outstanding friend. He made friends everywhere he went. After moving in middle school, he was introduced to the most amazing group of people, his “Appleton Crew,” who stuck with him through thick and thin. He went on to La Crosse for college, where he made friends who quickly became family.
After college, Todd moved to Marinette, where he met the love of his life, Tate Bronold (DeDamos). He loved her with his entire heart. Together, they built a life in Menominee, MI, where they had three beautiful girls, Theodora (5), Jerryn (4), and Palmer (1). His girls, all four of them, were his entire life; he lived for them. Todd was born to be a dad, especially a girl dad. He was gentle, patient, supportive, silly, everything to those girls.
He lived a life full of energy, kindness, and purpose. Known for his unwavering loyalty and generous spirit, Todd touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Whether through his work, friendships, or family, he brought warmth and sincerity to every interaction.
He is survived by his loved ones, who will forever cherish his memory and the joy he brought into their lives. Todd’s legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew him, and his absence leaves a void that can never be filled.
A funeral service to honor Todd’s life will be held on Wednesday, August 13th at Emmanuel Lutheran Church (2901 13th St. Menominee, Mi). Visitation will be from 3:00-7:00pm, with a short service to follow.
Todd and Palmer will be buried together, at Riverside Cemetery on Thursday, August 14th in a private ceremony with immediate family present.
In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting donations to a GoFundMe account that will be used to help Tate, Teddy, and Jerry navigate the trying road ahead.
Cadieu Funeral Home is assisting the Bronold family with arrangements.
