Deborah A. Larson

Deborah A. Larson, 65, of Springfield, passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2021 at HSHS St. John’s Hospital. She was born September 15, 1956, in Springfield, the daughter of Gerald and Mary (Dowdell) Moomey. She married Lawrence “Larry” Larson on October 12, 1985 and he survives.

Also surviving are two children, Andrew (fiancé: Morgan) Larson of Mechanicsburg and Mattea (Nick) Tavernor of Lincoln; grandchild, Justin, and one on the way; sister, Vickie Maher of Michigan; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers, Jerry, Gary and Paul Moomey.

Deborah was a payroll clerk for the Springfield Police Department, retiring after 37 years of service. She loved gardening, flowers, deer hunting, and collecting cookie jars.
