Loretta Maynard

Loretta June Maynard, 87, of East Bank passed away July 30, 2025 at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston.

She was a retired coal sampler for Valley Camp Coal Company and attended Christ Temple Church, Winifrede. Loretta took great pleasure in her flower gardens and enjoyed going to Judson Baptist Church with her family.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Lindsey Maynard; sons, Barry Miller, John Maynard; daughter, Teresa Stone; sister, Betty O’Mara and granddaughter, Andrea.

Surviving are her son, David Miller (Susie) of East Bank; daughters, Della Burford (Steve) of East Bank, Debbie McCallister (Tim) of Kanawha City; brothers, Roy Withrow (Darlene), Jerry Withrow (Debbie), Frank Withrow (Ann Marie) all of Florida; sister, Ann Nichols of Florida; grandchildren, Cristina, Eric, Nick, Ethan, Joshua, Daniel, Caleb, Charles; great grandchildren, Arya, Madalynn, Oliver and Mason; special niece, Diana and her husband, Skip and special caregivers, Charlotte Atkins, Sherrie Elswick and Donna Hoffman.

Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, August 11, 2025 at Fidler and Frame Funeral Home, Belle with Pastor Charles Bolen officiating. A gathering of her family and friends will be held one hour prior to service time at the funeral home on Monday.

In keeping with Loretta’s requests, her cremation wishes will be honored prior to the memorial service.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Judson Baptist Church, 320 E 8th Street, Belle, West Virginia 25015.
