February 26, 1965 – July 20, 2025

Joe Gibbons, born in County Mayo, Ireland, and resident of Yonkers, New York, died on July 20, 2025 following a short illness.

Joe is survived by his loving brothers, Padraic and Tommy, sisters Mary, Bridie, Frances and Noreen, sister-in-law Phil, and brothers-in-law Martin and Vinnie, and his loving partner, Bernie.

Viewing will be held in Hodder Farenga Funeral Home 899 McLean Avenue NY 10704 on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM

Following the viewing, Joe’s body will be cremated. Joe will then be repatriated to Ireland where his funeral and burial will take place in his native Mayo.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Joe’s name to Montefiore Medical Center, would be greatly appreciated by the family.
