Timothy D. Merkel

Timothy D. Merkel, age 64 of Yorkville, IL passed away on Friday, November 5, 2021 at Aperion Care in Elgin, IL. He was born on September 27, 1957 in Aurora, IL the son of Forrest and Alice M. (Greene) Merkel.

Tim was a 1975 Yorkville High School graduate. Mr. Merkel was employed for many years, by Meijers. He was a longtime member of Cross Lutheran Church in Yorkville, IL. Tim was a loving son, brother, nephew and uncle who will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Tim is survived by his two nephews, Jeffrey (Kasey) Merkel of Haslet, TX and James (Kailey) Merkel of Sandwich, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Forrest and Alice Merkel; his brother, Thomas Merkel; and his sister-in-law, Pamela J. Merkel.

Services will be private.
