Kenneth Ray Clark, 86, passed away peacefully on Friday; July 25, 2025, at his home in Granbury with his family by his side.
Ken was born January 23, 1939, in Big Spring, Texas to Bob and Hazel Atwood Clark. Ken and Darlene Clark were married on June 14, 1958, in Kermit, Texas. They lived in Fort Worth prior to moving to Granbury in 1993 and were members of the First Christian Church of Granbury.
Ken was preceded in death by his wife Darlene, his parents, Bob and Hazel, his brothers, Keith and his wife Sue, Ross and his wife Susie.
He is survived by son, Curtis Clark and wife Janet of Midland, TX.; daughter, Denise Brokmeyer and husband Ron of Fairfield, TX.; six grandchildren, Christie Oswald, Kyle Clark, Davis Clark, Brandi Brokmeyer, Bailey Brokmeyer and Katie Tran; nine great-grandchildren, Cole, Trista, Kase, Kenady, Kaylor, Kenzley, Ophelia, Aurora and Jude.
Ken graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in mechanical engineering. He later completed the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration, Advanced Management Program. He worked 40 years for Sid Richardson Carbon Co. in many different roles ending his career as Vice President of Operations and Engineering. He served on the Engineering Dean’s Council for Texas Tech University. He was an avid fisherman and staunch supporter of Texas Tech.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM. Wednesday; July 30, 2025, at Wiley Funeral Home Chapel in Granbury with Pastor Justin Jeter officiating and burial following at Holly Hills Memorial Park in Granbury.
