Thomas J. Hampson

Thomas J. Hampson, 79, of Springfield died at 4:20 pm, Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at his home. He was born August 4, 1942 in Springfield to Murvel J. and Helen A. (Mueller) Hampson. He married Barbara Antonacci in 1967 and she preceded him in death.

He is survived by nephews, Douglas Hampson (Dawn) of Rochester, Bradley Hampson (Jeanette) of Chatham, Michael Hampson (Julie) of Sycamore and his sister-in-law, Judith Hampson of Springfield.

He was also preceded in death by his parents and one brother Ronald P. Hampson.

Thomas was a United States Army Veteran. He was a member of Laborers Union #477, worked at Franklin Life Insurance Company and WalMart.

Private services will be held.

Tom’s family wishes to thank his close neighbors and friends for the loving care and support they have shown him over the past several years. Words are simply not enough.
