Linda Marie Baker, 64, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away from a long, courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at Hallmar Village. A Celebration of Life will be held from 3:30-6:30 p.m., Monday, August 11, 2025, at Jones Park Lodge in Cedar Rapids.

Linda was born on October 24, 1960, in Manchester, Iowa, the daughter of Earl and Joan (Fessler) Lasche.

Linda graduated from Maquoketa Valley High School. After high school, she received a Nursing Degree from Finley School of Nursing College in Dubuque. Linda enjoyed Iowa sports, golf, playing cards, needlepoint, and spending time with her family.

Linda is survived by her children, Brandon (Renee) Baker, Joshua Baker, and Dillon (Michelle) Baker; grandson, Braydon Baker; two stepgrandkids, Piper and Will; siblings, Carol (Martin) Ries, Doris (Michael) Ries, David (Penny) Lasche, and Connie (Terry) Domenick; and many nieces and nephews.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Janet (Lasche) Bolen, and brother Kevin Lasche.

Linda donated her necessary organs for Multiple Sclerosis research.
