Lawrence Reid

Passed away in Strathmore, Alberta on Monday, July 21, 2025 in his 71st year. Born in Kingston, Ontario, the fifth child of eleven. He was the son of John Andrew and Catherine Mary Reid (deceased). He will be missed by his siblings Mary Robertson (Ian), Joan Donovan (Glenn), Marg Murray (Tom), Pat Reid (Vicky,deceased), Virginia Rowswell (Ed), Sandy Thomson (Glen), Barbara Huffman, Karen Belanger (Laurent), Paul Reid (Nivea) and Jim Reid. He is the uncle of 18, and great uncle to 29 and will be remembered by numerous other family members and friends.

Larry initially worked as a roofer, then was employed in the trucking industry in both Ontario and Alberta for many years. He loved his Harley Davidson, his old Ford trucks, and long drives on the open road. His love for music started here, and he knew the words to most songs that came on his radio. Larry loved to tinker on vehicles and talk to people and he could strike up a conversation with anyone. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date in Ontario.
