In Loving Memory of Makhan Singh Johal,

Makhan Singh, 79, passed away on July 3, 2025, in Malone, New York.

Born on September 10, 1945, Makhan later moved to the United States in 1995, where he worked tirelessly to support his growing family and build a life filled with love, warmth, and simple joys.

Makhan was a man of few wants. He found happiness in life’s small pleasures: a good cup of tea, his favourite sweets, and any excuse to dance. He was known for his calm mind, gentle heart, and ever-present smile. He touched the lives of all who knew him with his kindness, positivity, and lighthearted spirit.

Makhan’s memory will forever be cherished by his beloved wife, Baljit Kaur; his sons, Amandeep Johal and Bhagwantvir, also known as Joe Johal; and his daughters-in-law, Varender Johal and Paramjeet Johal. His legacy continues through his six grandchildren, Shan, Savreet, Sham, Jatin, Gunvir, and Bikramjit Johal, who brought him endless pride and joy.

He will be remembered always for his sweetness, his smile, and the love he gave so freely, blessing everyone he met. With heavy hearts, we want to say we love you from the Johal family and on.
