Richard King Lewis II

Richard King Lewis II

Richard King Lewis II passed away October 24, 2021, at the age of 56. Our Heavenly Father called him home to claim victory over his long battle with cancer. Rikki was born on May 27, 1965, to Richard King Lewis and India Fleming-Lewis in Fort Stockton, Texas.

Rikki worked at several kinds of jobs in his early life before he decided on a career with Home Depot where he dedicated his time for 31 years. During his life Rikki made countless friends and made an impact on everyone he met. When Rikki was around you were always met with a laugh or a sarcastic comment and that made Rikki unforgettable. He was the type of person who was there when you needed him whether you needed an ear to listen, a piece of advice or literally the shirt off his back. Or even a swift kick in the tail. Rikki loved children, both the two and four legged varieties and the feeling was mutual. He loved watching sports, playing golf and going fishing.

In 2015 after his first battle with cancer, he reconnected with a high school sweetheart, Rebecca Northcut, and 32 years later won her heart again. She moved to Granbury to be with him in January 2016 and they married on September 28, 2019. For the 6 years they had together, they loved each other with everything they had. Always knowing his cancer could return, they made sure to make a lifetime of memories in a very short time. Their faith kept them going through his final battle, always knowing they would carry each other as God carried them both.
