Dennis Marton

Dennis P. Marton, 79, of Chicago passed away on July 8, 2025. Beloved husband of Linda, nee Graf. Loving father to Heather and Jill. Cherished brother of Susanna “Nina” and the late John and Diana. Dear son of the late John and Anna. He will be missed by many friends and family. Dennis graduated from North Park College and then went on to work for United Airlines for over 30 years. Dennis loved his large extended family and the outdoors. He enjoyed working on his garden and the gardens of family and friends. He was always happy to share the vegetables he grew. Dennis was happiest when he was outside in the woods among the birds and insects. He spent many hours giving back to his community by volunteering at LaBagh Woods. He leaves a lasting impact on the LaBagh Woods community. On Sunday, July 13th a visitation will be held from 11am until the time of the eulogy service at 1pm at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Homes, 6150 N Cicero Ave., Chicago IL 60646. Memorial donations in Dennis’ name can be made to the Friends of the Forest Preserve, 411 S. Wells St. Suite 800 Chicago, IL 60607.
