Jerald Lewis Eubanks Sr. was born April 26, 1959, in Los Angeles, CA, to James Aaron Sr. and Mildred (Millie) Maria Eubanks.

Jerald grew up on 52nd and McKinley and attended the neighboring schools. He worked at Ralph’s Grocery store in 1977; that’s where he met Rene’. Soon after, Jerald decided to join the military. He completed basic training in Georgia as a telecommunication specialist. Upon returning home, after basic training, he and Rene’ were married and from this union, four children were born. Jerald began his tour in the US Army with his first duty station in Darmstadt, Germany for two years, then to Fort Hood, an army base in Killeen, Texas, for a year, and finally, his last duty station was Redstone Arsenal Campus in Huntsville, Alabama. After his time in the Army, Jerald worked at Gardena Memorial Hospital and also at the Unites States Post Office.

On May 27, 2025, after an intense and emotional bible study with his oldest son, Jerald Jr., he indicated that he was no longer afraid of death. After studying repentance and grace, he stated that if he had a chance to, he wanted to repent and follow Jesus. He confessed Jesus was Lord and accepted Christ as his Savior. This confession allowed him to transition in peace out of the flesh and into the arms of God. Jerald transitioned from this life on June 21, 2025 and has now been greeted by his parents, brother Jerry, and sister Janice who all preceded him in death.

Jerald leaves to cherish his memories, his four children and their spouses, Jerald Jr. (Nedra), JaMar (Janesse), Jene’ (DeDrione), and Joi (Brenden); ten grandchildren, De’Jon, Jordan, Jeniya, Julian, Jalyn, Josiah, KaeDyn, Jace, Kali, Justyce, and one on the way; his siblings, Joyce (Carl Sr.), James Jr., Juanita, JoAnne, Janita (Raoul Sr.), and Jeneta (Jerome Sr.), and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
