Nelda Goin

Nelda Lynn Goin, 75, passed away October 9, 2021 in Granbury, Texas. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 2pm at Wiley Funeral Home.

Nelda was born February 5, 1946 in Granbury, Texas to Sam Newman and Francis Robertson. She was an artist, loving mother, and the last chuckwagon cook in Texas. Nelda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt.

Nelda was preceded in death by her husband: Larry Goin; parents; brother: Billy Newman.

Nelda is survived by her children: Johnny Bird and wife Patricia, Rebecca Cross and husband Will; grandchildren: Mathew Bird, Samuel Bird, Jackson Cross, and Addi Mae Bird; special family members: Mike Goin and family, Kody Cavasos and family.
