Diana Bienko

Diana Bienko, age 68, of Chicago, IL, passed away on June 5, 2025, peacefully in the comfort of her own home.

Diana was born on May 2, 1957 in Chicago, IL to Walter Bienko and Nina Kostylowa. She grew up in the Logan Square neighborhood of Chicago, and is a proud graduate of University of Texas at Austin.

Diana spent her life building a career in both the legal and financial professions, and was known for her outgoing spirit and intellectual drive.

She had a passion for language, history, travel, and learning new things, and will be remembered for being a seeker.

Diana is survived by her sister Ruth Ryczek (Michael), nephew Jason, and nieces Michelle Place (David) and Amy Lopez (Edgar), as well as her many grandnephews and grandnieces. She was preceded in death by her sister, Ursula Block, and her brother, Paul Bienko.

A memorial service will be held on June 20, 2025 from 10am-2pm at Theis-Gorski Funeral Home.
