Jose Reyes

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jose Ramon Reyes, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, who departed this life on May 28, 2025, at the age of 77.

Born on January 20, 1948, in the Dominican Republic, Jose was a man of strength and dedication. He immigrated to the United States with the hope of creating a better life—not just for himself, but for the family he held so dear. He succeeded through hard work, perseverance, and an unshakeable belief in his purpose as a provider and protector.

Jose built his life—literally and figuratively—with his own two hands. Working in construction and plumbing. He was known for his creativity, resourcefulness, and ability to find solutions. But his greatest pride was not in the projects he completed, but in the family he loved.

Jose is survived by his children Magin, Elisa, Roxana, Joselyne, Marilyn, and Jose Alberto whom he motivated and pushed to rise above. Jose was also a proud grandfather to Ralphy, Melissa, Joey, Marielys, Kaitlyn, Randy, Isaiah, Savannah, Xabriel, Josiah, and Isla, each of whom brought joy to his later years. His legacy continues to grow through them, and through the lives of his siblings, nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Those who knew Jose will remember his sense of humor, wisdom and love for family. Jose leaves behind a legacy built on love, strength, and sacrifice. His life was a testament to what it means to work hard, love fiercely, and never give up. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit lives on in the hearts of all who were lucky enough to know him.
