Waverly “Buck” Sykes

Mr. Waverly “Buck” Sykes, age 83, of Hendersonville, North Carolina, passed away on Friday, March 18, 2022, at Pardee UNC Health Care in Hendersonville.  A proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Buck was born in Norfolk, Virginia on December 11, 1938.

 

A graveside service with inurnment will be held at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia.

    I have known Buck for years thru the bernese. He always had a smile on his face and was a wonderful “team mate” in obedience at the Hampton Roads specialty in 2014! He knew my son had health issues and after saying hi his first question was always how is Matt? Buck was truly an inspiration in how to get the most out of your dog! He will be truly missed! Love to Priscilla
