Timothy “Tim” Allen Ferguson

Timothy “Tim” Allen Ferguson, 66, of Springfield, passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at Memorial Medical Center. He was born July 1, 1955, in Springfield, the son of Hugh Joseph II and Patricia Colleen Weyrauch Ferguson.

Survivors include his mother, Patricia Ferguson of Springfield; three siblings: David (Barbara) Ferguson of Branson, MO, Carole (Jim) Britton of Springfield and Joe (fiancé: Lucy) Ferguson of Branson, MO; and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Hugh “Fergie” Ferguson and one brother, John Ferguson.

Tim was a US Air Force veteran and worked as a volunteer at Calvary Church Hope Thrift Center. Tim had an appreciation for art, especially drawing.  He enjoyed fishing with his best friend, Jeff.

Memorial Gathering: 11 am – 1 pm, Friday, August 13, 2021 at Calvary Church, 1730 West Jefferson St., Springfield, IL.

Memorial Service: 1 pm, Friday, August 13, 2021 at Calvary Church with Pastor Paul Rose officiating. Burial will follow at Old Salem Cemetery where military honors will be conducted.
