Terrance G. Trost

Terrance G. Trost, age 58 of Somonauk, IL passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2022. He was born on February 10, 1964 in Chicago, IL the son of Christ and Carol (Zeman) Trost.

Terry worked as an Industrial Mechanic in the plastic molding industry for over 40 years. Terry enjoyed classic rock, court tv, and challenging anyone to a game of foosball. He was very mechanically inclined and a jack of all trades. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family.  He was the Most Genuine Dad, grandfather, brother, and uncle who will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Terry is survived by his children, Terrance (Kara) Trost Jr. of Leland, IL, Christine Trost of Somonauk, IL, and Stephanie Trost of Raleigh, NC; his grandchildren, Olivia Branson, Terrance G. Trost III, and Brixton Trost; his siblings, Rick (Robin) Trost, Mary Zar, Tim Trost, Jaqueline (Kenneth) Jahnke, Chris (Lene) Trost, Gerard Trost, James (Sheila) Trost, Geralyn (Ken) Fontana, Kim (Patrick) O’Donnell, and Daniel C.P.D Trost; as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Thomas Trost.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2022 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM with a service to follow at Nelson Funeral Home, 1275 S. Countyline Road, Sandwich, IL.

Entombment will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, December 16, 2022 in Maryhill Catholic Cemetery and Mausoleum, Niles, IL.
