Shirley Nell Brown

Shirley Nell Brown passed away Saturday, October 8,2022, in Fort Worth, Texas, surrounded by her family. She was born December 5, 1954, in Comanche, Texas to Chester and Estelle Cagle.

Shirley met her husband, Roy Brown, in 1975 and married on May 1, 1976. The couple had two children, Clifton, and Jennifer. Roy and Shirley moved to Granbury in 1993. She had many jobs in her life including cooking for ranch hands and housekeeping, but the job she took the most pride in was being a wife, mother, and Grammy.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents and eight brothers and sisters.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Roy Brown of Granbury; son, Clifton Brown and wife Erica and their daughter Presley of Forestburg, Texas; daughter Jennifer Rice and her wife Tristan of Yukon, Oklahoma.

Celebration of Life will be held at 2pm, Saturday, November 5, 2022, at Light C Ranch, 2501 Neri Rd., Granbury, Texas 76048.

Shirley enjoyed house plants, so we ask that if you would like to make a donation in her name to send a house plant in lieu of flowers so her memory will live on.
