Sharon M. Triest

Sharon M. Triest, age 80 of Yorkville, IL passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at the Story Point Assisted Living Facility in Naperville, IL. She was born on October 24, 1941 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Arthur and Lillian (Doyle) Murphy Jr.

Sharon was united in marriage on October 26, 1963 to Mr. A. Michael Triest and they spent the next 58 years happily together. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt who will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Sharon is survived by her loving husband, A. Michael Triest of Yorkville, IL; her daughter, M. Eileen (Robin) Knapik of Yorkville, IL; her granddaughter, Alexandria Knapik of Chicago, IL; her sister, Eileen (Wayne) Michalak of Bolingbrook, IL; and her sister-in-law, Louise Shallbetter of Nebo, NC.; also several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Lillian Murphy, Jr.; her sister, Mary Anne Murphy; and her brother, Arthur Murphy, III.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at the Nelson Funeral Home, 1617 North Bridge Street, Yorkville, IL with Deacon Doug Wells, officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Patrick Cemetery in Bristol, IL.

Friends may visit from 5:00 until 8:00 PM on Friday, July 22, 2022 and again from 11:00 AM until the Hour of Service on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at the Nelson Funeral Home, 1617 North Bridge Street, Yorkville, IL.
