Salvatore J. Lento, Jr.

Salvatore J. “Sam” Lento Jr., age 55 of Yorkville, IL passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 10, 2021 at Season’s Hospice in Naperville, IL. He was born on December 9, 1966 the son of Salvatore J. and Elizabeth (Schwartz) Lento.

Sam enjoyed spending time with his family, going to the shooting range and snowmobiling. Sam was a loving father, son, brother and uncle who will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Sam is survived by his son, Dominick Lento of Yorkville, IL; his sisters, Diana (Anthony) Riedy of Yorkville, and Regina (William) Wright of St. Charles, IL; also his niece, Ariana Wright and his nephews, Caleb and Aiden Wright, Drake and Dylan Riedy; the love of his life, Heather Mansholt, of TN; also many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Salvatore and Elizabeth Lento.

Friends may visit from 4:00 until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at the Nelson Funeral Home, 1617 North Bridge Street, Yorkville, IL. Interment will be private.
