Royce Brent MacKinley McCormick

Royce Brent MacKinley McCormick, “448 Rolls”, was born to Shannon McCormick and the late Charles Williams in Akron, Ohio, on July 2, 1994.

He attended Glover Elementary and was a graduate of Garfield High School in 2012.

Royce was full of life, and everyone will have their own perception of who he was to them…

But to us: Royce was CONFIDENT in who he was, some would even say arrogant and cocky. He was humble and respectful. He was genuine and had a great heart. He was funny and had a crazy sick send of humor. He grew up as a boxing phenomenon in his younger years, ranking 3rd in the nation for Golden Gloves. Royce has been a man since he was a little man. He was very loving and a protector of his family (especially his sister, Raven). Royce loved music and was a great rapper and had a thriving music career. Royce was definitely not afraid to speak his mind. He stood on what he believed in. One thing for sure and two for certain, “448 Rolls” was definitely a ladies man!

He departed this life suddenly at the early age of 28, Tuesday, May 2, at Summa Health.

He was preceded in death by father Charles Williams; grandfather EdRoy McCormick; great-grandfather MacKinley Harrison; great-grandmothers Ruby Harrison and Janita Jones; and good friend Marquis Sams whom he loved dearly.

He leaves to mourn his passing his mother, Shannon McCormick; son Kingston McCormick; daughters Royce and Raelle McCormick; brothers RaShaad, Anthony, Charles, Antonio, and Montelle; sisters Raven, Porche’, Teralisa, Mercedes, Serena, and Serinity; special brothers Anthony Roman and Anthony Wallace; grandmothers Amanda McCormick-Dancy (Henry) and Ernestine Williams; grandfather Charles Mills; uncles EdRoy, Anthony, and Sean McCormick, Preston Stafford, and Warren Williams; aunts Dawanda and Janita Williams; special cousins Anthony “Amp Staff” and Tyle “Big Scoot”; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
