a family and a career as a homemaker. Bobbie was a fantastic seamstress, who did many custom alterations and original pieces.

After the sudden and early death of Kenneth, Bobbie reinvented herself and began a career in food service and concessions, managing concession stands at the CR Kernels Stadium, Tuma Soccer Complex, Sport Zone and owning a Blimpie franchise.

Bobbie was a strong supporter of law enforcement and military, keeping a band of black and blue on her front door. Her love for law enforcement began with her grandfather, Louis Morrison, who was a Cedar Rapids Chief of Police. Her support continued for many family members and friends in the services.

Bobbie is survived by her four children, Anne Thing, Michael Gruber, Jenni (David) Mayer and Jim (Janell) Gruber; seven grandchildren, Adam (Yuka) Mayer, Jessica (Luke) Conrad, Andrew Thing, Logan Mayer, Matthew Gruber, Ben Mayer and Maddie Mayer; and two great-grandchildren, Kalina Mayer and Alex Mayer.
