Richard “Rick” Remnes

Richard “Rick” Remnes, age, 69 passed away on December 1, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. Rick was the beloved husband of Yvonnemarie Remnes. Loving Dad of Brian Scott (Allison) Remnes and Jennifer Nicole (Bradley) Wright. Cherished Papa of Hadley Lorah and Bryson Ace Remnes. Adoring dog Papa of Nutmeg, Ofelia, and Boozer. Rick was a proud member of the Chicago Police Department for over 30 years. He was beloved by his many friends and colleagues on the force. Rick was a character who had a larger than life personality. He enjoyed spending time with his family and his Harley group the Blue Knights. Rick and Yvonnemarie shared many fond memories with the Blue Knights helping with Toys for Tots.
