Rae Ann Martin

Rae Ann Martin, 74, of Springfield, died at 12:31 pm, Friday, January 20, 2023 at Springfield Memorial Hospital. She was born on March 6, 1948 in Chicago, the daughter of Rayburn and Gloria (Lanham) Martin.

She is survived by two daughters, Rachel Smith and Rebekah (Harold) Hayes, both of Springfield; five grandchildren, Shawna VanPelt, Caleb Baptist, Dallton Grider, Elizabeth Baptist and Molly Grider; five great grandchildren; one sister, Pamela Martin of Springfield; one niece and two nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Rae Ann had previously been a member of South Side Christian Church. She enjoyed working in her flower garden.

She has worked at Egizii Electric and IE Consultants.

Visitation: 4 – 7 pm, Friday, January 27, 2023 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield.
