Patricia Anne Dean Larsen

Patricia Anne Dean Larsen, 58, beloved wife, mother and sister, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 31, 2023, in Fort Worth, Texas.

Visitation will be held from noon until 1 PM on Friday, April 7, 2023 at the Triple Cross Cowboy Church in Granbury.  Funeral services celebrating her life will follow at 1 PM, Friday, at the church.

Patricia was born January 16, 1965, in Richmond, Indiana to the late Calvin and Geneva Dean.   She graduated with her BS degree from Purdue University and MS degree from University of South Florida, both in Chemistry.   She was selected as a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society.  Patricia married Robert Larsen on August 2, 1996, and together had two daughters, Amy and Megan.  She enjoyed reading – particularly on the patio at the lake house. Patricia loved all animals and was active in local rescues and shelters including Parker Paws, Weatherford Whiskers and the Weatherford Animal Shelter.  Together with her children she fostered over 55 kittens and 8 puppies until ready for adoption.  Patricia has taught for over 5 years at the North Central Texas Academy at Happy Hill Farms near Glen Rose.  Prior to that, she had a career in the pharmaceutical industry and education at other Texas schools. Most of all, Patricia will be affectionately remembered for her deep faith and for the love and devotion she had for her family – particularly for her daughters.

Patricia is survived by her husband, Robert; her daughters Amy Marie and Megan Elizabeth Larsen; and by her siblings and their respective spouses, Gary Dean (Kirsten Nicholson), Alan Dean (Joanne), Rick Dean (Victoria), Wanda Evans (Gary) and Terry Dean (Julie); and sister-in-law Gail Dean.

In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her brother, Bruce Dean.
