Michael Douglas Taylor

Michael Douglas Taylor (Preacher Mike), 70, beloved father and brother, of Granbury, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 22, 2022, at his home.   Private services will be held at a later date.

Michael was born on December 10, 1952, in Houston, Texas, to Max and Wanda Taylor.  He grew up in Lampasas, Texas where he was a volunteer fire fighter along with his dad for many years.  He was a talented craftsman and business owner of Taylor Tile.  Michael was a man of deep faith who loved the Lord.  He had an incredible memory and told the most wonderful stories.  Most of all, Michael will be remembered as a man who loved people and “would do anything for anyone in need.”

Michael is survived by his daughter, Addie from Colorado; his grandchildren, Katherine and Jamie Nichols; his sisters, Jana Childers and Tricia Campbell; by his stepfather, Carl La Vergne; and by numerous nieces, nephews, and special friends.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents and by his nephew.
