Michael Dean “Mike” Holder

Michael Dean “Mike” Holder, 67, passed away on Saturday; October 9, 2021 in Fort Worth. Mike was born May 18, 1954 in Stephenville, Texas to H.D. “Bill” Holder and Marianna Lowe Holder. He was a United States Air Force veteran, and was a member of the Haltom City-Riverside Masonic Lodge # 1331. Mike retired from Lockheed Martin/General Dynamics after forty years of service where he was also Union Stewart. He loved to farm, riding motorcycles and playing music. Mike lived a short but very full life!

He was preceded in death by his wife, Birtie Darlene Cheek Holder; his father, H.D. “Bill” Holder and his mother, Marianna Lowe Holder; step-sons, Doyle Seabourn and Kendyll Seabourn.

Mike is survived by his beloved Pomeranians, Izzy and Dolly; his daughter, Patricia “Trish” Holder; stepson, Cody Lynn Sessums; sisters, Beverly Seabourn and husband Gerald and Karen Hudson and husband J.D.; eleven grandchildren, Hailley, Cassandra, Morgan, Opal, Chase, Seth, Zoey, Cody, Christian, Kenzie, and Ryker; a number of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and stepmother, Judy Holder.

Viewing and visitation will be from 10am. to 12noon on Friday; October 15, 2021 at Wiley Funeral Home in Glen Rose.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00pm. Friday; October 15, 2021 at Wiley Funeral Home Chapel in Glen Rose with interment to follow at Rock Creek Cemetery in Glen Rose under the direction of Wiley Funeral Home of Glen Rose.
