Mary Ann Perry

Mary Ann Perry, 88, passed away on Wednesday, January 4,2023 in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born January 5,1934 in Jack County, Texas to Odie Leroy Spann and Mary Hughes Spann.

Mary was a very loving mother and grandmother. She was also a very Godly Christian lady and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lipan. She and Bob owned and operated Perry’s Thrifty in Lipan for over 26 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bobby “Bob” Wayne Perry, a sister Edwina Fite and by a brother John Spann.

She is survived by her four children, Randal Wayne Perry and wife Joyce of Natchitoches, LA, Debra Ann Compton and husband Jerry of Lipan, TX, George Perry and wife Kristy of Millsap, TX, Sara Pendergrass and husband Mark of Lipan, TX; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; sisters, Nell Hinson of Mineola, TX. and Martha Gordon of Gonzalez, LA.; sister-in-law, Barbara Spann of Weatherford; numerous nieces, nephews extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be from 5pm. to 7pm. Sunday, January 8,2023 at the First Baptist Church in Lipan.

Funeral services will be held at 10am. Monday, January 9,2023 at the First Baptist Church of Lipan with Rev. Troy Strickland officiating. Burial will follow at the Evergreen Cemetery in Lipan.
