Martha L. Johnson

Martha L. Johnson, 93, of Mansfield, passed away early Saturday morning, October 2, 2021, at Ontario Pointe.

She was born February 4, 1928, in Williamstown, West Virginia, and was a homemaker her entire life. In her free time, Martha enjoyed gardening and bird watching.

Martha is survived by four children, Linda McDonald, Thomas (Orlena) Johnson, Brenda Dronebarger, and Sandra (Ken) Pifher; ten grandchildren, David McDonald, Hope Belcher, Jennifer Cook, Thomas Johnson, Tina Johnson, Joe Pifher, Tonya Stevens, Lori Zajac, Larry Byerly, and Charley Byerly; twenty-four great-grandchildren, Katie McDonald, Emily McDonald, Christian Reed, Dylan Belcher, Kylie Belcher, Adam Cook, Morgan Cook, Sydney Johnson, Kelsee Johnson, Jasmine Johnson, Kara Marcum, Kyle Marcum, Heather France, Tiffany France, Brooklyne Byerly, Braelyne Byerly, Madison Byerly, Jake Pifher, Kate Pifher, Hannah Stevens, Hayden Stevens, Hudson Stevens, Annie Zajac, and Ben Zajac; and two great-great grandchildren, Jude Brown and Theo Brandt.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry Oliver Snyder and Katie Mae Elliott Snyder, husband, Ralph Leroy Johnson; two sisters; and two brothers.

The family will receive friends from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 5, 2021, in the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Rd. The funeral service conducted by Pastor Matthew Pond will follow at 10:30 a.m. She will be laid to rest in Mansfield Memorial Park.
