Lucille Anne (Gorkow) Harris, 94, of Manchester, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2023, at the Good Neighbor Home in Manchester.

Survivors include her five children, Jerry Gorkow of Manchester, Tom Gorkow of Manchester, Merri Chris (Lee) Hawker of Manchester, Jeff (Linda) Gorkow of Cedar Rapids, and Marcia (Mark) Schaul of West Des Moines; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one brother, Edgar “Pete” Lang of Cedar Rapids; sister-in-law, Shirley Lang of Lincoln, Neb.; brother-in-law, Clair Way of Cedar Rapids; and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Good Neighbor Home for their kindness and compassionate care given to our mother during the past several years.

Lucille’s family requests that any memorials be directed to the Good Neighbor Society.

Mass of Christian Burial: 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2023, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Manchester, Iowa, with Rev. Gabrielle Anderson officiating.

Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 30, 2023, at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Manchester, where there will be a 3:30 p.m. Scripture Service. Friends may also call from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church on Tuesday

Interment: Cass Township Cemetery, Strawberry Point, Iowa.
