Lorrie, the daughter of Larry G. and Karen M. (Heitman) Bischof, was born Nov. 3, 1966. She grew up by Watkins and Homestead. Lorrie graduated from Amana High School in 1984. She worked at the Ronneburg, Amana Refrigeration, Colony Inn Restaurant and the Seven Villages, all of Amana as well as Nordstrom, in Cedar Rapids. On June 26, 1993, she married Brian P. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Brian, of 29 years; three children, Kyle, Jordan (fiance, James Tolly) and Justin; three grandchildren, Malik, Mehlani and Apollo; her mother-in-law, Carolee Bruner; siblings, Mike (Susie) Bischof, Michelle (Gary) Wieland, Karee (Terry) Dietrich, Janelle Curry, Susanne Schmuecker, Joye (Alan) Bowers, Roger (Clara) Bruner, Gary Bruner, Ron (Judy) Bruner, Russ (Deb) Bruner, Barb Bruner and Kris Bruner; and many nieces and nephews. Lorrie had many, many friends, but had five really, really, close ones, Kelcy Jasper, Jolene Jones, Sherrie Curry, Joan Braatz and Mike Lint.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Larry and Karen Bischof; her step-dad, Dave Ramsey; her parents-in-law, Robert and Phyllis Bruner; a sister-in-law, Janet Davidson; and brothers-in-law, Mike Schmuecker and Sam Curry.

The family would like to thank the staff at the University of Iowa Hospital, Essence of Life Hospice and her sister Joye for taking such good care of Lorrie.
