Loren Dale Dundee was born August 4, 1950 in Postville, IA to Alfred and Miranda (Olson) Dundee. He resided in Cedar Rapids for most of his life.

Loren’s journey ended October 6, 2025. He received exceptional generosity and compassion from staff at the Mercy Hospice and Oldorf Hospice House.

He is inurned in Linwood Cemetery beside his parents.

Loren was predeceased by his parents and older brother, Gary Dundee, Sr.

Left to cherish his memories are Lou Ann Dundee (sister), Yang No Huh (brother-in-law), Alice Dundee (sister-in-law), Gary Dundee, Jr., Andrew Dundee, Eun Sang Huh, Kee Sang Huh (nephews), Clarice Kubasa (aunt), Robert Ronnfeldt, Janice Pfiffner (close cousins), other extended family and Dave Metz (lifelong friend).

Loren will be remembered as a meticulous record keeper, nature photographer, journal writer, truth-seeker, bicycling enthusiast, free thinker and most importantly, a devoted brother and filial son.
