Linda Sue McNeal Debler, 78 of Cedar Rapids, died at her home on Friday, February 14, 2025. Services: 10 a.m. Wednesday, February 19 at Teahen Funeral Home, Cedar Rapids, IA. Burial: Czech National Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. and after 9 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Linda is survived by her husband Dick; five children Jeff (Tina) Beltz, Deanne Beltz-Sund, Daniel Beltz, Jason (Cynthia) Debler and Nathan Debler; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Larry (Linda) McNeal, Mike (Cheryl) McNeal, Kory McNeal, Terry (Ruth) McNeal; sister Donna Burke; sisters-in-law Janet (Charles) Orr and Linda Frankenfelt; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and mother and father in-law Ethel and Don Debler.
Linda was born on June 15, 1946 in Osceola the daughter of Donald and Vera Weeter McNeal. She married Larry Beltz in 1962 and they later divorced. Linda married Dick Debler on July 30, 1983. She was a director at Tanager Place for 15 years and she also worked at Kids Incorporated Day Care.
Linda’s favorite time of year was Christmas and she loved all things Santa. She looked forward to the holidays and displaying all of her Santa’s and her Christmas village. She was also an avid bowler who enjoyed crafting, spending time at her cabin and traveling. Above all, Linda adored her family and enjoyed every minute she spent with them.
