Linda M. (Johnson) Remillard, 78, passed away at the VA Hospital in Iowa City on Saturday, Aug. 27, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Sept. 30 at Cedar Memorial.

Linda M. Remillard was born on Sept. 1, 1943, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Her passions were her daughters, her grandchildren, and traveling. Linda was a veteran in the U.S. Army.

Those left to cherish Linda’s memory are her daughters, Michele (Joe) White and Leslea (Jeff) Bolton; her grandchildren, Chelsea White, Mason (Brenda McArtor) Bolton and Evan Bolton; and her sister, Billie (Rabbit) Troxel. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Keri Ann.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Iowa City VA Medical Center or CR Freedom Foundation.

The family would like to thank the entire staff at the VA Hospital in Iowa City for all the love and support they showed Linda while she was in their care.
