Linda Lou St. John, 72, of Stanwood, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2023. A funeral service will be held at Chapman’s in Clarence at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18, with Pastor Ron Lashmit officiating. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery in Clarence.

Linda was born April 17, 1950, in Monticello, Iowa, to Herman and Ruth (Michels) Osterkamp.

Linda is survived by her soulmate of 30 years, John Feddersen of Stanwood; her children, Robert (Brigitte) of Odenton, Md., and Darla (Chad) Gein of Greer, S.C.; grandson, Ashton; step-grandchildren, Helena and D.J.; John’s children, Randy Feddersen of Cedar Rapids, Melanie Feddersen of Chicago, Christine Croghan of Mount Vernon and Wendy (Ralph) Wartell of Rockford, Ill.; and siblings, Denny (Mary) Osterkamp, Betty (Almore) Taken, Lucille (Gary) Shingledecker and Belva (Lyndsey) German.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Willis, Donald, Ray and Roy Osterkamp; sisters, Mary Krotz and her husband, Lee, Evelyn Greiser, Christine Keeney and her husband, Wayne, and Barb Wallig and her husband, Jim.

Linda was a collector of Barbie’s and Elvis memorabilia. She enjoyed her morning coffee chats with the guys at the gas station and had a love for baking, especially her signature scotcheroos and baked beans. She also had a passion for gardening, yard work, and flower beds. Linda loved to laugh and she brightened up any room she was in. She was a strong supporter of the United Way, the Cedar County Humane Society and the American Cancer Society.
