Larry Joseph Neyens, 70, of Marion, IA passed away peacefully on August 10, 2025, in Cedar Rapids surrounded by his loving wife and family.

A visitation for Larry will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at The Church of the Nativity, 1225 Alta Vista St. in Dubuque. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m. with entombment to follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Leonard Funeral Home and Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Rd. Dubuque is assisting the family.

Larry was born on February 2, 1955, in Dubuque, the son of Edward and Ruth (Keller) Neyens. He married Tine Westemeyer on November 15, 1975, and they were celebrating 50 years of marriage throughout this year.

Along with his wife, Tina; he is survived by his siblings, Sandra (Herk) Hammerand, Edward (Debby) Neyens, Susan (Joe) Haas, and Mark (Jaclyn) Neyens; mother and father-in-law, Bob and Donna Westemeyer; siblings-in-law, Tim (Kathy) Westemeyer, Carol (Mike) Kaiser and Cathy Dick; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He will be missed by many.
