Joseph Willis

Joseph Allen Willis, age 70, of New Philadelphia passed away peacefully on Monday, December 26, 2022 in New Dawn Retirement Community after a period of declining health.

Born in Dover on November 8, 1952, he was the son of the late George and Wanda (Hammond) Willis.

Joe graduated from New Philadelphia High School in 1970 and continued his education at Kent State University.  He was a tool salesman for Iscar Metals for many years.  In his younger years Joe was a professional stage hand.  Joe became a very accomplished artist and loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He was a member of the Tuscarawas County Art Guild and H.O.G. (Harley Owners Group).

Joe will be deeply missed by his wife, Tina Nusman-Willis; his son, Aiden Willis of New Philadelphia; sister-in-law, Sheila Willis; aunt, Peggy Walton and 2 nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, George Willis.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Geib Funeral Center in Dover.
